"I don't want to learn boring classical music"

Apple Valley Guitar Academy also teaches secular and Christian Pop, light Rock, contemporary Fingerstyle, Spanish, Country and Jazz. 

Furthermore, classical music on the guitar is beautiful and exciting, not boring. 

In fact, several students interested in hard rock guitar chose us after hearing this music for the first time. 

"I don't want lessons at a high-pressure, serious music school.  I just want to have fun with the guitar."

In order to have fun with the guitar, you must learn proper technique, musicianship, and effective practice methods.  Otherwise, your playing won't sound good, and learning every song will be a long, frustrating ordeal, i.e. "not fun".

As far as being serious, we are serious about giving you the most guitar knowledge and the fastest results for your money.  Typically, our students learn more from us in months than they would from years of lessons with "less serious" teachers.

We are also friendly and supportive teachers.  We never pressure students, but rather, encourage them to use the effective instruction we offer so they will enjoy playing the guitar and learn as quickly as possible. 

We always let students learn at a pace that's comfortable for them, but we do expect compliance with our requirements and assignments.
